Client Optos plc

The brief Optos plc is an innovative retinal imaging company with a vision to be recognised as the leading provider of retinal diagnostics. DPMS started working with Optos at the time of appointing a new Chief Executive and when they were performing well in the market. This was the first report that we produced for Optos and they were keen to demonstrate the scale of opportunity and also their strategic approach going forward (sharpening their focus and securing their leading position) but with some level of information with regards to their technology.

What we did The first thing we changed was the format of the document, giving them a landscape report. This emphasised the wide-field imagery that Optos produces with their retinal scans and allowed for large, bold, wide imagery to be used. Secondly, we implemented several upfront pages showing a snapshot of the opportunity and how the strategy is being implemented. We also helped commission and art direct the photography for the board shoot and other imagery used in the report to achieve a consistent look, liaising with Optos' internal web team, based in the US.
