Who are you?
You’ll have an interest in web technologies and have the ability to read and write code. Your career goal will be to develop into an opensource developer and this could be the first or second step in your career to achieve that goal. Ideally you’ll have had some work experience in an office environment but that’s not essential, although we would expect you to adapt to this environmental quickly. Our work is very deadline orientated so you must work well under pressure and be good at hitting deadlines. A can do attitude is a must, as is good accuracy under pressure and creative flair when it comes to layout. You must also be aware of Accessibility issues and W3C standards and incorporate these into your work and be aware of industry changes and trends..

We’d like to see examples of your work even if it’s only a college or personal project.

Essential Skills:

  • Ability to handcode XHTML
  • Ability to handcode CSS
  • Ability to find your way around graphic packages such as Fireworks, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Team Player
  • Ability to get things done/can do attitude
  • Good time management
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • An excellent eye for detail

Desirable skills:

  • Experience of working with a content management system
  • Google Analytics, Google Webmaster and Google Adwords
  • Experience in SEO
  • PHP is a plus
  • Javascript

What you’ll do
You’ll be maintaining the current online portfolio of over 100 websites, performing day to day maintenance on website content/structure and supporting the rest of the team with new online projects and web builds wherever possible. Your day to day tasks will vary across the client portfolio and you’ll have to manage many small jobs, often working to tight deadlines to maintain customer service level agreements.

What we’ll give you
We’ll reward you with a salary of between £14,000 and £18,000 depending on experience/skills.

Other information
Working hours are Monday – Friday 8:50am – 5:30pm but you may be expected to work outside these hours if necessary to finish a project. We do not pay overtime. Probation period is 3 months with 12 month yearly Personal Development Reviews every August where performance, salary and benefits are discussed.

New Business Executive

The role:

As a new business sales executive, you will be required to identify new business opportunities, schedule meetings (mostly via telephone) which you will attend with The Head of New Business and assist in the internal briefing process. Eventually, you will be responsible for managing the complete sales cycle, the timing of which will be depending on the speed of progression.

Candidates should:

You will need to be self motivated, tenacious and a good communicator.

Training is provided.
