Sitemap restructuringThe first stage of the website build was to establish a new sitemap to allow easier navigation around the website and deliver consistent messaging. Design Portfolio conducted a full content review of the current website and previous report to establish a more coherent sitemap, a better user journey and to offer suggestions for new content to be sourced.
Delivering the brandJust Eat has a well-established brand, both in the UK and globally, so the DP design team had an extensive set of guidelines to follow for both the annual report and corporate website. However, we were able to introduce new corporate styles and website specific functionality to enhance user experience (UX) and develop the corporate brand further.
Content management system (CMS)Ensuring the Just Eat team could continue with website updates, Design Portfolio provided a content management system (CMS) with multiple user access to allow the team to add press releases, edit facts/figures and continue to scale the website as and when required. Working with the project team at Just Eat, we ensured that the website was launched within a tight timeframe and on the company’s existing hosting platform.
Enriching content and photographyTaking content from various sources including the annual report, previous website and existing collateral, Design Portfolio helped Just Eat collate information and provide consistency throughout its messaging, whether in print or digital. Working with the UK Head of Design, we designed both sets of collateral to showcase the brand and the people within and connected to the business, providing relevant best practice and regulatory guidance and advice.
