Main responsibilities
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to provide front of house receptionist duties and administrative support to DP’s London head office. Ideally we would like to see the receptionist progress within the business into our Client Services department in a Team Secretary role, leading to increased responsibilities/career development.

Typical tasks as receptionist will include:

  • Answering phones, directing calls and taking messages
  • Maintaining a smart, hospitable and helpful manner to clients and colleagues alike
  • Courier bookings and general correspondence with courier company (to confirm delivery times, get delivery quotes etc) in addition to signing for both courier deliveries and normal post and then distributing accordingly
  • Managing and logging Royal Mail postal orders
  • Keeping check of stationery stocks, making stationery orders and sourcing supplies if necessary
  • Flight, train or passenger car bookings on request
  • Providing refreshment/lunches for Board, Senior Management and client meetings
  • Keeping the reception, Boardroom/meeting room and general office tidy

In addition, the Receptionist role will include some Team Secretary responsibilities, eventually leading in to a Team Secretary role. Typical activities will include:

  • Assisting the Client Services team in the monitoring and updating of administration for client projects.
  • Updating timetables and helping to update these in line with key milestones. Developing an understanding of timetables.
  • Liaising with registrars to create mail out questionnaires for client post outs.
  • Updating weekly agendas and attendance at weekly production meetings.
  • Supporting the Client Services team with queries relating to the management information system.
  • Supporting the Client Services team with ad hoc admin requests.
  • Providing secretarial/admin support to our Print department
Candidate requirements

For this role, we are looking for a candidate who:

  • has a university degree (preferably English, business or media related) or relative experience. Candidates who lack professional qualifications or training should have proof of working in a busy corporate communications/agency environment;
  • has a can-do attitude, is organised, is a highly proactive administrator and able to manage multiple tasks;
  • has a good knowledge of Microsoft packages;
  • is aware of the importance of client/customer relationships and able to communicate with a variety of people of all levels; and
  • has excellent attention to detail.

The role: a senior role within our client services team

We are seeking an experienced Senior Client Manager/Account Director in our London office to look after a number of key clients and their corporate communications projects. Managing a dedicated production team to deliver mainly annual report and website projects, with other ad hoc investor and marketing collateral projects, the role will include some new business pitching and networking activities but mainly developing relations with an existing client base, organising their projects, managing the proofing process and ensuring key project milestones are met.

For this role, we are looking for a candidate who:
  • has a university degree (preferably 2:1 or above) or relative experience;
  • has experience of working in a busy corporate communications agency environment;
  • has a "can do" attitude and is able to manage multiple projects, liaising with internal production teams and the client to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget;
  • has excellent attention to detail, managing the proofing process;
  • knowledge of best practice, corporate reporting and communication trends;
  • is client services-focused with a demonstrable ability to enhance existing client relationships and establish new ones;
  • is able to communicate with clients at C Suite level; and
  • is knowledgeable about print production and project management with digital knowledge a bonus (although full training will be provided).

Digital developer roles

Due to expansion we are looking for junior, mid and senior digital developers. Based in the London head office, this is an exciting opportunity for digital developers to join our growing team, working closely with the digital client managers and resource manager to develop, deliver and maintain digital platforms for our clients including: corporate websites; online annual reports; and intranets.

Your experience

A highly motivated and experienced individual, you will have a number of years’ experience in the corporate communications industry or wider digital space, with a good awareness of user experience, quality assurance and open source technical skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn new technical skills, to keep current within the market and to help shape their own career and departmental progression.
