At Design Portfolio, part of Encompass Agency Group, we know that people do their best work when they feel their best. That’s why we’re proud to have signed up to the Mental Health Charter – a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to raising awareness, improving training, and embedding best practice around mental health in the workplace.
Why mental health matters to us
We spend a significant part of our lives at work, and creating a supportive, inclusive and healthy culture is essential – not just for performance, but for people. Mental health isn’t a ‘nice to have’. It’s a core part of how we build a stronger, more resilient team and business.
When our team members feel empowered, supported and seen, they’re able to thrive – both personally and professionally. By fostering a culture that prioritises mental wellbeing, we’re investing in our people and the future of our business.
A step forward – but not the final step
Joining the Mental Health Charter is an important moment, but it’s just one part of our wider journey. We’re committed to making mental health a constant priority – through training, internal awareness programmes, confidential support and ongoing dialogue across the business.
Mental wellbeing underpins everything – creativity, collaboration, communication. By partnering with the Mental Health Charter, we’re strengthening our commitment to our team’s health and creating space where conversations about mental health are both welcomed and supported.

Supporting the cause
Over the coming months, we’ll also be launching fundraising initiatives to support the Mental Health Charter and its vital work. As a not-for-profit, the organisation depends on donations to deliver training and provide resources to other workplaces across the UK.
This partnership is a natural extension of our values of being collaborative, creative and considerate – and we’re proud to be building a culture where mental wellbeing is treated with the same care and commitment as every other part of the employee experience, reflected in our recent recognition in the Times Best Place to Work 2025.
