As the nights draw in and the temperature drops we wanted to help spread a bit of warmth amongst those in need. We revisited a worthy initiative that we supported last year and raided our wardrobes, emptied our cupboards and hassled our friends and family for all their unwanted coats and jumpers.

For the second year running, DP supported the Wrap Up London campaign, a charity in its sixth year here in London, and St George’s Crypt in Leeds. As a company, we managed to collect bags full of winter coats and assorted knitwear, which we were pleased to drop off with the respective charities.

All those spare coats collected by Wrap Up London are taken, sorted and distributed to a range of organisations that help lots of different people, including the homeless, the elderly, refugees, women who have fled domestic violence and children in poverty.

St George’s Crypt is a charity in Leeds that works with the homeless, the vulnerable and those suffering from addiction and items are distributed locally.

Our goal at DP is to contribute to a sustainable society and engage with our local communities. We believe that working with different charities on an individual, group and company level promotes a sense of corporate and social responsibility amongst our team, and enables us to truly make a difference.
