This week, Design Portfolio’s Chairman, Ian Restall, and his two daughters ran in the Vitality 10k run in London in support of a small, local charity, Brentwood Catholic Children’s Society (BCCS).
BCCS looks after children in Essex and East London who are experiencing great hardship and suffering from bereavement and bullying, to anxiety and abuse. Ian was Vice Chairman at the charity until very recently and so it is close to our hearts, providing counselling for children and young adults whose wellbeing and mental and emotional health could be at risk.
BCCS cares for over 1,600 new children each year and will be caring for around 3,500 at any one time - a lot of children for such a small organisation and they need as much support as possible.
Committed to doing all we could for this very deserving cause, everyone pooled together and smashed the target of £900, raising an impressive £1461.

A huge thank you to everyone who has donated so far!
